Does anyone know if Publix accepts American Express? It's my understanding that there is a $10 Publix coupon that you can use on buying a $50 American Express gift card. It costs $4.95 to activate it. So, you would profit $5.05. I'm thinking that you could buy the card, profit $5.05 and then use that card to buy your groceries. If you use a competitor's coupon for $5/$55 or similar you could easily save $10.05 off the top of your bill.
Any thoughts??
